Viewing multiple email accounts with the Connect app?

Viewing multiple email accounts with the Connect app?

I have 2 comcast.net email addresses, and want to know if its possible to have both addresses set up in the app, so I dont have to completely sign out and then sign back in to get from one account to the other.

Is this possible?

From the Inbox page, go to Preferences>>>>>>>Email>>>>>>>Email Accounts.  Follow the prompts, and if everything works OK the second account will appear in the Folders pane at the left of your screen along with it's own folders and sub-folders.  Another way is to open one account in one browser, and the other one in a different browser.

APP

I am asking about the android app, although I have tried setting up the prefereces online on my computer too, but it appears to only let you set up email addresses from other providers.

2 browsers is fine on a pc but on the APP i am not using a browser, I am using the Comcast app.

Any other suggestions?

So from the lack of replies from anyone I am assuming you cant view 2 comcast email accounts without signing out of one and into the other with the android app?  Disappointing Yahoos app does this.

In the Andorid Connect app, if you are in your main email account and touch "Inbox" at the top of the page, you will get a dropdown list of all of your email usernames associated with your account.  From there you can touch the username (and then the folder below that you wish to view).  I have a main user and 2 others and they all work fine within the app.

How did you add the 2nd comcast email into the app?

Re: Viewing multiple email accounts with the Connect app?

I never had to add it in the app. These accounts were added as sub-accounts when I joined Comcast Internet, and they just appeared after I installed the app. They have different usernames, but the same password for login credentials.

You can add them on the Comcast website after logging in with your main account:  My Account > Users and Preferences. If you don't see your other accounts in the tabs at the top, I would try clicking on the "Rename or link another account"  link at the top of the page and you may be able to add your other accounts that way.

Good Luck.

Never mind about what I said above, I think I have the answer.

Go here: https://prefs.connect.comcast.net/prefs/email

Click on "Email Accounts", and then click on "Add account".  Use the Other tab to add/setup additional Comcast email accounts.
