Using outlook to access Comcast email after discontinuing my account

I am discontinuing my Comcast account but plan on keeping my Comcast email address.   If I am accessing  my email through outlook does that count as logging  into my account every 90 days to keep the account active?

Tentatively I'm going to say yes.  Desktop clients like Outlook keep you signed in to the account.  But I'm going to try and find out for sure.  If I do I'll post back in here.

ETA:  I have been able to confirm that keeping the account in Outlook or any other desktop client would satisfy the sign-in requirement.  IMO though, I would still manually sign in once just short of 9 months anyway just to be on the safe side, in the event something went wrong in Outlook.
