Unable to open Email Address Book

I am unable to open the Email Address Book.  I've read all of threads in this forum and thus familiar with the few suggestions that are there, but unfortunately, nothing is working.   Here are the particulars:

- I'm running an iMac 27" mid 2001 with OSX Yosemite, 8gb RAM

- I typically use Firefox and am running v41.0.2

- the same problem occurs on Safari 8.0.6

- Pop Up blocker disablee

- history and cache is set to clear on close

Error message:

Please help.

Re: Unable to open Email Address Book

The address book is actually provided by a company called Plaxo.  Try going directly to their website and sign in using your Comcast user ID and password to see if you can get into it that way------------------
