Unable to access emails from new homepage site

Unable to access emails from new homepage site

With the new Xfinity homepage I cannot open my email browser. I click on the icon under Xfinity, after logging on, of course. It opens up a new window on my laptop and comes back to the Xfinity.com homepage. I tried the icon in the upper right just right of my sign-in status, but that takes me to the Xfinity.com homepage, too.

How do I get out of this endless loop and see my emails? I need to log in so that I can send emails to my committee members.

Thank you,

Email Expert

Re: Unable to access emails from new homepage site

Did you also try the envelope icon on the right side of the screen near your name?  Another thing to try----------while signed into the account, type m.comcast.net/m into your address/omni bar and hit return.  Does that get you to your Inbox?

Re: Unable to access emails from new homepage site

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I tried the email icon next to my name. I get redirected to the home page. I tried the m.comcast/net/m link you provided. It appears to be a mobile site, but I thought, what the heck. When I clicked the folder for email, I got redirected back to the home page.

I'm using a laptop. While I can use my phone and read my emails, I would like to use it from my laptop, too since I have to send emails with attachments.

I just checked my internet settings and it looks like I'm on Internet Explorer 11.0.9600.18097 if that helps.

Re: Unable to access emails from new homepage site

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session.

If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser and see if you can duplicate the problem that way. If it works OK then you will know the problem probably lies with the first browser. eg: if you are using Internet Explorer, try Chrome or Firefox.

Also, you could try switching from the Full version of Xfinity Connect to the Lite version. Go to Preferences>>>>General, and see which one you're using now. Full is the default. Select the Lite version.

If you are using IE 11, make sure Compatibility mode is enabled for comcast.net. You will find it in IE under "Tools".
