Trouble with replying to emails

My email is intermittently acting up.  Most of the time I am not able to reply to messages--I will get the page as if I am going to reply, but it does not let me type in the message box.  Sometimes this happens when I compose new messages.  When it does work properly it is not attaching the previous email.  I also noticed that sometimes the Reply/Reply All buttons do not work.  Any suggestions?

I will assume you are only using Xfinity Connect for email?

Which version, Full or Lite?  To check, go to the Inbox and click on the Preferences tab, then click on the General icon.  A window opens showing which version you are using.

 

Which browser and version are you using?  Have you cleared your browser cache?  If not, please do do.

 

IF you are using Internet Explorer as your browser:  Click on Tools, then on Internet Options.  Look and make sure that Compatibility View is enabled.

 

Have you tried other browsers to see if the problem lies with the browser you are using?  Test by trying Firefox or Chrome.  Same issues?

Full version of Infinity

Chrome browser, version 50.0.2661.94

Cleaned browser cache--less than 350 MB

operating system is Windows 8.1

We use Xfinity connect, full version.

We use Chrome browser, version 50.0.2661.94

I cleaned out the browser cache--it had less than 350 MB

We use Windows 8.1 

My husband does use his smartphone to check his email from his office.  On occasion he checks his work email from home.  I check email on my Kindle, here at the house only.

 

When I try to Reply or Reply or Forward an email, it does not include the original email and it does not let me type a message.  At least once today it did not let me compose an email--I was able to put in the addressee and subject line but no message.
