Time delays with Comcast service

So Comcast (XFINITY) waits until Saturday morning (1/16/16) at 8:18AM to send out an automated email saying that customers can enjoy a free preview of Showtime during the weekend.  But thanks to my unreliable Comcast email service, which after 2+ years, Comcast still can't seem to resolve, the email notice doesn't show up in my email inbox until 7:49PM and I didn't view it until Sunday morning.  So much for getting a timely notice!  This happened last time that Comcast had a free viewing weekend too.
