Sub Addresses

Sub Addresses

Why can't I use sub-addresses in my e-mail with  Comcast?   The Internet Spec RFC 5322 describes the '+' sign as the valid tag separator but Comcast won't handle it.   Why?

Of course proper e-mail services like Gmail and iCloud do allow it.

Please implement this.  It is part of the standard and doesn't require any new equipment or capital investment.

Re: Sub Addresses

Comcast email has never supported  + addressing or the use of aliases.  I have no idea why, as a lot of other email providers have one or the other these days.
