Spam messages

When selecting email messages as SPAM, why do I still receive messages from the same sender insted of the messages automatically going into my spam folder? It's annoying. Please advise

It takes time to "train" the filters as to what you think is or is not junk mail.  Marking it once or twice won't do it.  It takes a lot of marking as a rule to get it right.  If one particular sender is always sending to you from the same address, you could set up a filter for that one email address to direct it to some other folder, or just delete it.
