My spam folder doesn,t empty by itself after two days. What happened?

Re: Spam folder

Are you still in the old email format, or the new one?  If the new, the  Trash folder holds for 7 days before the messages start dropping off.

Re: Spam folder

I'm in the new format but I didn't know it now takes seven days to delete. Thank You for the information.

Re: Spam folder

7 days is the default if you do nothing.  You have the option to manually delete them.  I've been informed by a Comcast employee that the default is supposed to be 14 days, but my own account  will only go 7.

Go figure
