Spam filtering problem

Spam filtering problem

I am using an e-mail application to download my e-mail from the Comcast web site to read and respond to at my lesiure. I have recently been experiencing lost e-mail that I have been expecting due to Comcast filtering them to spam. This was discovered by going to the web mail and finding them in the spam folder on the web site. How do I stop this erroneous filtering of legitimate e-mails?

Re: Spam filtering problem

Hi,

You can turn off spam filtering which will let all messages that are marked as spam to be delivered to your inbox. The below link shows how to do this. The downside to turning off spam filtering is you will receive unwanted spam.

An alternative is to set IMAP on the application so the spam folder shows up on the client too.

Thanks

Brandon
