Sent, Trash, Junk Folders

Help, the folders on the left side of my email are gone. Inbox, Trash, Sent etc. How do I get them back. I have searched for help and am told I need IMAP support to email. How can this be fixed?

Re: Sent, Trash, Junk Folders

I have Comcast web-based email. The newer version that downloaded a few weeks ago.  I have a MacBook Pro.  I was dragging an e-mail to one of my personal folders.  I flinched on the mouse pad and suddenly all my personal folders are gone.  What the whah?  Where did they go there are many saved emails in them.  I still have "inbox, sent spam, trash, drafts" but my folders I named under these are gone.

Logged out then back in.  All good now!
