Can you tell us the make and model of the equipment you're using to try to scan a document?

Re: Scan

Well, in order for anyone to help. you need to provide the following info:

Brand & model of computer:

Operating System (OS);  answers might be Windows XP or 7.x r 8.x or 10 or Mac OS X 10.6.8 or 10.9, etc.

Brand and model of Scanner:  Is it a All-in-One or just a scanner?  Does it also print and copy (and fax)?  Do you want the scanner output to be on paper or do you want it to show up in your computer?

How it is connected to your computer:  USB, wifi, or ethernet cable?

Are you trying to scan to a printer or to your computer?

Have you read the manual or User Guide that comes with the unit?  If you cannot find it, you can get it online from the manufacturer's website if you have the scanner brand and model number.

That is the best I can do give the info you provide.
