SPAM retention

SPAM retention

How long are emails in the Comcast SPAM folder kept?

I called tech support and was told spam is never deleted by Comcast.  I have to delete spam from the folder.  I have had Comcast for over 2 years.  There is only one item in my SPAM folder today and it is SPAM.   I cannot believer Comcast has never labeled any other emails as SPAM?

Comcast reps say the darndest things!

Spam is purged from the servers according to the schedule you set in their Xfinity Connect webmail under Preference / Email / Email Deletion Schedule (30 days max).

It can happen.  You may just not have gotten any junk mail in that account.  I have 3 Comcast email addresses and I never get any spam in any of them.

My Yahoo account is another story.

Go figure.
