Retrieving email in inbox

Retrieving email in inbox

Why am I not able to view old email?  I can see that I have many thousands in the inbox but I can only read about 1200 newer or current messages.

Re: Retrieving email in inbox

Your storage limit is 10g.  Look in the upper left corner of the Inbox and see what the percentage is that is available.

Which version of Xfinity a Connect are you using?  Full or Lite?  To check, click on a Preferences tab, then click on the a General tab.  A window opens showing which version you are using.

Also do you have your Email  Preferences set to never delete?  Check that by clicking Preferences, then click the Email icon.  Now you see your email settings.  Scroll down to the EMAIL DELETION SCHEDULE and look how many days it is set to when it automatically deletes all email from the Inbox.  Is that set to NEVER? Post back.

Re: Retrieving email in inbox

All those things done . On left it says about 1400 emails in inbox, however if I move cursor over it I'd shows total emails 5000+. Cannot click on that. Only using 8% of 10k. On right on same level as search it says something like 100 of 5000. As I scroll down emails the 100 number increases. I only went to about 300. If I put known email subject in search box it says no file found but search is only checking the 1400 not the 5000

Re: Retrieving email in inbox

Hi REBWire -- I can help to see if we're able to get access to these emails. I will need to know which email address you're trying to access these with. Please send me that email address in a private message.

Click my name (ComcastZach) and click Private Message Me.
