Removing the typeover feature

Removing the typeover feature

How do I remove the typeover feature in my Comcast emails? In other words, when I go back to insert a few extra words into a previous sentence, I start typing and it actually starts erasing what I had already typed.  In Outlook, you can click on Control and Insert at the same time to begin or remove the typeover feature but it doesn't work in Comcast email.  Can you help?

Re: Removing the typeover feature

There is no such setting in either the old or new email formats.  How are you accessing your email----------on a computer with a browser, or on a tablet or what?
