Recovering Sent eMail

Recovering Sent eMail

My Sent Mail folder had a short retention period ... and now I need to recover emails I sent back to January 2016.  Is there a way to request this?

Re: Recovering Sent eMail

Depending upon how long ago it was that the emails were deleted, they may be gone for good.  Have a look at the following link which describes how to go about recovering deleted emails, but it does caution at the bottom of the page that you have approximately two weeks to recover the deleted emails before they are gone for good.

Were you able to recover any?  Supposedly, the recovery feature only works on emails that you deleted your self.  If they got deleted because of the deletion schedules, or any other cause, they are just gone.
