I need to find an email send in June 2015 but cannot find it. I am positive I did not delete it. My account shows emails from 2013 and then skips to August. Why cant I get to just a few months ago?

There are several possibilities.  First, if you had another device with the account enabled on it during that time frame, it might have been downloading and deleting the messages from the server.  Second, if you were using only the Comcast webmail on only one computer, you may have had the deletion schedules set to delete after a given period of time.  Third, you may have had some malware on the computer that affected your email.

 

If they really are deleted, there is no way to recover them from that far back I'm afraid.

I've checked and don't have any deletion schedule, neither on my phone or computer. Now my phone is completely messed up.

The Xfinity  Connect a Deletion a schedule is found here:

Open the XC Inbox, click on the Preference tab

Click on the Email icon

Scroll down to the EMAIL DELETION SCHEDULE and open it.  Make any changes you wish to make to the schedule
