Reading emails in p7m encrypted format

Reading emails in p7m encrypted format

I've occasionally received emails from corporate email systems that send emails in the p7m encryption format by  default (even though the actual content is not encrypted).  The browser mail client and the iOS Connect app both cannot display these messages.  The native Apple Mail app (macOS and iOS) and Microsoft Outlook (desktop and iOS app) have no trouble displaying them.

Anyway to enable the Comcast clients to display these messages properly?

Re: Reading emails in p7m encrypted format

Comcast email is webmail, in the same sense as Yahoo, Gmail or Outlook.com.  It is not a desktop email client.  So no, there is no way to open an encrypted file in the webmail UI.  You would have to have the account enabled in something that supports that particular encryption system.  Here is some information on it------------
