I don't have to check for it.  It finds me.  Smiley Happy  They're ads from companies that I don't want to hear from (sometimes you can unsubscribe, otherwise hit the junk button), scams (usually noticable by broken english and poor grammer), that sort of thing.  Comcast's filters generally do a pretty fair job of catching most of it.  It varies, as the filters and spammers learn from each other.  My email client takes care of most of the rest.  On my primary account (with a really badly chosen name!  Didn't know better at the time) gets just a few a week.  Our secondary accounts, with much harder to sniff out names, have been in use for many years without getting a single unwanted email.
