Problem opening email messages

I recently transfer my comcast account to a new address.  Initially, the transfer was not handled properly by comcast, due to errors made by the CSR with whom I spoke.  After several weeks, things are fine, except for my emails. After several calls for assistance, I can sign in to my basic email address, plus several of my additional email addresses,  I can't open any email messages, which is most unacceptable, since there are many messages which need action by me.

My first call for assistance with my email was on Monday, with a second call on Tuesday.  I was advised that there would be a delay since all messages must be transfer from my old account to my new account.  On Monday, I was advised that this would take 24 hours;  on Tuesday, I was advised that it may take up to 72 hours.  It's now over 96 hours since my first call, and I'm still getting the same message:  "Access requires comcast high speed internet", and recommending that I upgrade to high speed.  This is obviously ridiculous, since I already have high speed internet, as part of my bundle.  I'm also using the same laptop, as well as the same internet, etc.  The problem seems to result from the fact that my accout number at my former address couldn't be transfer, and a new account number was assigned.  All of my existing data (phone number, bundle (phone, internet, tv), emails, etc.) was supposed to be transfer to the new account.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?  How can I resolve the problem of not being able to acess my email messages?    I will probably have to spend another hour on the phone with comcast, but I'm hopingsomeone out there may have an easier fix.

Thank you

Re: Problem opening email messages

The error message about you needing to get internet access indicates there is a coding problem in the account.  Unfortunately only Comcast can fix it from their end.  So you just have to keep after them.

Re: Problem opening email messages

Thank you.

You'd think that during 2 discussions (totalling 2+ hours) with 2 different comcast employees, this problem would have been resolved.  Looks like I'll be wasting another hour on the phone today.
