Possible phoney e-mail from EXFINITY

I received an e-mail from exfinity saying there is a problem with a wire or cable inside my house and asking me to call1 800-934 6489 to set up an sppointment  for a service call. They had not had any other call about an e-mail like that.

The person I spoke with, spoke to her manager or supervisor.

She said I would get a call (from repair person)  on 4/20 to set that date and time.      She suggested I send this info to you and use it for any other e-mails I question.  Please advise me if it is authentic or not.  Thankyou.

Re: Possible phoney e-mail from EXFINITY

1-800-934-6489 is 1-800-Xfinity, and they do contact customers for certain kinds of signal problems, so the message is probably legitimate.
