Password verification

You ask for an email address, but don't allow Comcast.net. That's the only email I have. You ask for a mobile phone number, then ask for a promo code. I have no idea what that is.

I already did this some time back but it's asking again. When the screen comes up it already has my security question and answer listed. It won't accept my outlook email. Please disable or fix  this nonsense. I hope this doesn't end up with people being locked out of their email.

It would likely also lock those same people out of their 'MyAccount' used to pay their bills online, not just lock them out of email.      And then there are also a substantial number of people that don't have texting & data on their mobile phones, so providing a mobile number for people in that circumstance is useless.

It says you can use a secret question in lieu of a phone number.  As state above, not all people with cell phones have texting capability, or even a cell phone.  I haven't see the prompt myself yet signing into any of my 3 Comcast accounts, but then I already have an alternate email and question listed in them, so maybe I won't see it.  If you are getting the screen, try clicking on the question mark to the right of the two fields to see if it offers the question as an alternative.
