PROBLEMS DISPLAYING E-MAIL

I was sent a receipt to e-mail of items I purchased online.  I could not see anything as the e-mail contained only colored bars.  When I hit reply, I was able to see the receipt.  I tried to reboot and view again.  The same happened, only colored bars showed up.  When I hit reply and scrolled down, I was able to view the receipt.
