New computer

We will be hooking up a new dell computer soon.  We know that our e-mail address book stays in comcast and will be on the new computer when we sign in however how can we save our individual favorites ( 2 e-mail address we use) and our folders that we store  inportant e-mails into.  Can that be done?  Mary

Re: New computer

First, your Comcast email and address book, if you are using only the webmail, isn't "on" your computer.  You just use the computer and browser to look at it.  The email account actually exists on the Comcast email servers.  So that's not an issue.

But I'm not sure I quite understand the second part of your question-----what do you mean by "favorite email addresses"?  And where are the folders you are talking about now?  Do you mean folders you created In the Comcast webmail?  If so, the same thing applies-----they should be there regardless what computer you use to access them from.

Re: New computer

I was referring to 2 things really.  One is favorites as in web sites  and the other is folders that when you want to save an e-mail you move it to a folder  " friends", or "work".   I know they do not show up on my tablet, but I am new with that. Other problems with that.  We have not hooked up the new computer yet waiting to download documents and photos to move to new one.

Use the Windows Easy Transfer to copy everything from the old computer to the new computer.  It comes with Windows.
