New Comcast email

Ever since email was 'upgraded' - I sign in - go to mail - screen shows "guest" as user. Email sent with sender's name shown as "noname". Not only does this cause most mail to go into the spam folder, but it also causes people to just delete the messagel.  What the hey?

It sounds like you are still on the old format.  So far at least, the new format has not had this issue.  The Guest thing does not affect the account.  But this is the first time I've seen the 'no name" thing.  Sign completely out of the account and back in again.  Does the no-name persist?

Thank you for the suggestion, however it did not work. Actually have 2 email accounts and the no name thing is happening on both. I have the 'new' format..........again, what the hey?

I'm going to escalate this thread to the forum admins for follow-up.  Yours is the first report I've seen about the guest thingy with the new format.

Hi carolg53 -- Can you start with clearing your cache & cookies from your browser please? Also have you tried using more than one browser to see if this issue is consistent with all browsers?

Cleared all and no solution.  It is happening with Internet Exployer & Fire Fox. Do not like Chrome, so I don't use it.
