My email word processing needs updating. I cannot change fonts or colors.Microsoft Word capability, at a min.

My email word processing needs updating.  I cannot change fonts or colors. It should at least be comparable to the old Microsoft Word capability.  Any ideas?

What "email word processing" are you referring to?  Something in your Comcast webmail account or in a client like Outlook or what?

I use the basic "word processing" capability in the email body.

 

Other accounts I have with other carriers allow me to chnage colors fonts, etc.

It would appear that capability is here but when I select a feature and start typing, it immediayely sends the curaor back the the top with no changes at all.

I have found the best way to use the HTML features in Comcast webmail is to type something you want to change, select (highlight)  it, and then make the changes to it.
