My email settings are out of whackw

My email settings are out of whackw

I have 3 email accounts which, until a few months ago were all set up as pop servers. I access my mail from desktop, iPad, and phone. My koiz1 account has changed itself to an imap account on my iPad. I tried deleting and creating new mail account on iPad but it automatically sets up as imap account again. How can I reset my koiz1 account to a pop account? Thanks for help.

Re: My email settings are out of whackw

In iOS, when you are setting up the account, deliberately misspell your password, or type some junk in that field.  When you continue it will try to verify the account.  It will take maybe 20 seconds or so and you will get a pop-up saying the account has to be configured manually.  There you will see the choice to make it POP3 or IMAP.  Then go ahead and put in the real password.
