Missing saved emails

Missing saved emails

I have been keeping a number of emails in my inbox to save until no longer needed.  They all disappeared on Monday and were replaced by 3 emails generated from my pictures file which were sent by me.  This pictures were not sent by me and apparently my system chose to send them.  Is there any chance of recovering the emails which I was keeping in my inbox?

Re: Missing saved emails

As a precaution I would change your password to something stronger than whatever it is right now, and also change your secret question and answer. Suddenly vanishing emails is a common sign of a malware infection, or a compromised account. Run a complete scan of your machine with your A/V software to see if it finds anything wrong.

Getting emails from yourself is another indicator.  Check your Sent folder to see if there is anything in there you know you didn't send.  It's a long shot, but right-click on your Trash folder and then on "Recover Deleted Items".  See if you can spot any of the missing emails in there.  If so you can recover them.

You can also call Comcast security and ask them to look at your account---------------
