Message too large

I am trying to send an email to a distribution list of about 50 people.  It includes a flyer and a photo.  Comcast SMTP email says that it cannot send because  it is too large.  How can I send it without changing it?  I use Mac desktop Mail.  Thanks, kg

Re: Message too large

The maximum size for sending an email with Comcast is 25 Mb, including any attachments and the header.  If you need to send more than that, you could try sending it as a zip file, or put it on a hosting site like Photobucket or one of the cloud services, then send your recipients a link to it.

Re: Message too large

Thanks so very much for your help.  I ended up changing the email - reduced the size of the flyer and photo for the invitation.  However, I don't know what a zip file is.  I have icloud so what I would do is put it onto icloud (how?) and send a link.  Can people without icloud get it ok - or do they have to have an icloud account?  Thanks in advance for your help.  KG

Re: Message too large

A zip file is a popular compression utility that lets you email large files that otherwise you would not be able to because of size and bandwidth restrictions in place for all of the ISPs and email providers out there.

But if you want to use iCloud, see here-----------------------------
