Make email password different from basic Xfinity login

My basic Xfinity login and password are the same for my email. I'd like to have a unique password for my email so my daughter doesn't have access to it, only to basic login information for the account in general.

When I go to change the password, I'm taken to a place that looks like it will also change the basic Xfinity password as well. How can I do this? Thanks.

Re: Make email password different from basic Xfinity login

The email address IS the Xfinity account login credential.  If you want your daughter not to have access to your Primary account, create a secondary account for her with it's own password.  If she has your current password already, just change it.

You can have up to 6 additional secondary email accounts in Comcast besides your primary account. Sign in to the account with your primary user ID. Here's the instructions-------------
