MAILER-DAEMON@comcast.net Message

When I use POP3 server with my Xfinity valid account trying to delete from Outlook 2007 INBOX folder old messages one year old in a awile I get Mailer-Daemon@ comcasat.net message.

That happens only with one of my known email address participient, who selected option of sent out mail by tracking- Read Receipt, not with others.

I noticed when change the Outlook setup for IMAP server protocol the described problem disappears.

How can that be explained for old being deleted mail ? Is there a bug in Comcast POP server ?

In addition, the remote e-mail address participient gets a message ( Read Receipt ):

"Your Message

To: ( my e-mail name )

Subject: xxxxxxxxxxxx

Sent: 2016-11-16 16:05

was read on 2017-06-02 20:33"
