Lots of static noise on my internet

Had a background noise for a while now on my desktop.

Noise is constant now.  Family complaining and asking what it is.

Any remedies?  I am directly plugged into router and wall with this desktop.

For one thing, disconnect your internet.  If the noise continues, and I suspect it will, it's not the internet.  Besides possibly having a printer connected directly to your computer, what other devices might be connected?

Have you tried turning off your speakers?  Are your speakers separate from your desktop/monitor?

Check to see what program[s] might be running in the background that could possibly be causing this.

Check all cables that are connected to your computer.
