Lost mail and mail continually deleting

Lost mail and mail continually deleting

All of the email in my account has been deleted around a week ago and now no mail will remain once it becomes about a week old.  I have multiple accounts and this only happened to one of them.  How do i get someone to check if the mailbox is corrupt and also restore the lost mail?

Re: Lost mail and mail continually deleting

Open the email address with the problem.  Then click on the Inbox.  Next click on PRFEFERENCES, then click on the EMAIL icon.

Your email settings will come up.  Scroll down to the Email Deletion Schedule and open it.  Look at the number of days each Folder is set to when it automatically deltes all.email from the folder.  Does that explain the missing email?  While there, make amy changes to the num,ber of days for each folder that you want to change.

Question:  Do you also use any other email programs, Smartphone, or tablet?  If yes, they must be set to 'Leave a copy of emails on the server' within each program.

You can also check for missing email by right clicking on the Trash Folder and clicking on 'Recover delted email'.  A new window will open showing you delted email.  If you see any of the ones you are looking for there, the next step is to highlight those emails, then click on the small green arrow you will see in the upper lefthand corner of the window.  When you click the arrow, another window opens, where you can MOVE those emails back to the Inbox, etc.
