Logging in to view email: Access requires Comcast High-Speed Internet

Hey folks,

I can log into the http://my.xfinity.com/ site successfully, however:

  • The prompt says 'Hi Guest'.
  • I click the email icon and it takes me to this page:http://my.xfinity.com/errors/unauthorized/?lang=en
    • It mentions that I have to sign in or subscribe to service to use email.
    • If I click sign in, it just takes me back to the main Xfinity.com page with 'Hi Guest'
  • The weird thing is, I can access my bill and make payments.

I've tried clearing my cache, cookies, and tried logging in using Chrome, Firefox, IE, on computers at home and at work.

Additionally, when I log into the Xfinity Android app, it simply shows a message saying 'You are logged in but we are unable to access your account details. Would you like to try again?', but trying again does nothing.

Has anyone seen this issue?  I saw previous threads that were similar, but no one mentioned a fix or how to go about solving it.

Thanks for any information!

In this case, did you by chance recently subscribe to phone service?  That can cause this.  You will need to call 1-800 Comcast and explain to them what is going on.  They must fix your Account for you.

No...I don't have phone service.  I've had no service changes in the last year, since I signed up for X1.

Thanks, I'll call later today.
