Left hand column with folder list cannot be shrunk since yesterday

Left hand column with folder list cannot be shrunk since yesterday

Up until yesterday, I have been able to change the width of the left hand pane in email that has the folder list.  It seemed to take on a life of its own yesterday and grew to more than double its necessary width taking up a lot of real estate. I am unable to shrink it down by positioning the cursor on the line and sliding it over like I used to.  Anyone know of any solution to this?

Try clearing out your browser's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close out the browser and re-start it in a fresh session.

If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser and see if you can duplicate the problem that way. If it works OK then you will know the problem probably lies with the first browser. eg: if you are using Internet Explorer, try Chrome or Firefox.

Thank you for your suggestions.  None of them solved the problem - I usually use Firefox, but tried both Chrome and Edge.  Comcast - it is you, not me.
