Junk mail not syncing properly with IMAP - Outlook 2010

I noticed recently, that the junk filter in Outlook 2010 is causing my junk messages to move to my junk folder but a copy still remains in my inbox. The only way to rectify the issue was to log into the web portal and designate emails as junk within the portal. I also noticed that the junk folder in outlook is not the same as the web mail. Perhaps this is the issue? 


I have no devices connected to my email other than my PC with Outlook 2010. 


No problems with syncs or sending and receiving mail.
