Is Comcast blocking email from "Mail.com" domain?

Is Comcast blocking email from "Mail.com" domain?

I have attempted to send several emails to Comcast.net addresses from a Mail.com address, and none of them go through.  There are no bounce back messages received, and the messages are not in the recipients Spam folder.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Is Comcast blocking email from "Mail.com" domain?

It could be so.  I have a Mail.com account and I just tried to send to one of my Comcast accounts and it still hasn't showed up in my Inbox.  I'll escalate this to the forum Administrator level to have someone look into it.

Re: Is Comcast blocking email from "Mail.com" domain?

Thank you.

Mail.com support has been un-helpful in getting this resolved so far.  Maybe Comcast can at least confirm if they are blocking.

Re: Is Comcast blocking email from "Mail.com" domain?

Some one else in this forum mentioned a while back that Mail.com tends to attract a lot of spam activity.  If that's true it wouldn't surprise me if they appear on lists like Spamhous or others.

Hi BCA_12 and Latoque,

I've emailed our CSA team to see if they can provide some more clarity about Mail.com or why this could be happening.

Thank you - not sure if this helps, but I did finally receive a bounce back error on Friday for an email sent on Monday.  Here are the headers from the bounce back:

Well someone kick-started something.  The test emails I sent on 9/16 and 9/18 just showed up in my Inbox.

Re: Is Comcast blocking email from "Mail.com" domain?

BCA_12 & Latoque,

Heard back from out CSA team. They were unable to find any information to confirm that communication from Mail.com is being blocked. What they would need to look into this further is either an example email that got blocked from that domain or your contact information so they can call you to speak further about this.

Whichever the case, please sent an example email or contact info in a Private Message to me that I can send back to them.

Click my name (ComcastZach) and click Private Message Me.

Re: Is Comcast blocking email from "Mail.com" domain?

I sent another test email from Mail.com yesterday afternoon to my Comcast account.  It still isn't there, but did show up in my Yahoo account.
