Internet mail spam

Internet mail spam

I am at my wits end over the amount of spam in my comcast.net mail account. For the past two months I have been faithfully marking messages as spam only to have more messages from the same sender or domain show up in my mail account. I am about ready to cancel service and go with another provider.

Re: Internet mail spam

First, make sure you have the Spam filter enabled.  From the Inbox page go to Preferences>>>>>>Email>>>>>>>Spam Filtering to check that it's turned on.  Spam is an ongoing battle.  Some people get flooded with it and others get none.  Take a look at this-----------------------

Changing ISPs is no guarantee your spam situation will get any better.  They all have the same problems with it.  Rather, if you want to stop using the Comcast email, just get a free account from one of the big hitters in email like Yahoo, Outlook.com or Gmail.  And there are others.  Just remember--------with the free accounts there is zero customer support if something goes wrong.  You also have the option to just change your Comcast email address to see if that solves your issue.  If you'd rather do that and want help, just post back in here.
