Incoming emai timestamp incorrect

Incoming emai timestamp incorrect

My incoming email on my "Comcast.net" mail service has an incorrect "time stamp" that is "off" by 7 hours. (I'm in USA Central Time Zone.) My OS Windows 10. I checked to see if my Windows time and date was incorrect and/or set to wrong Time Zone. It's OK. The time and date displayed at right end of task bar has correct info. I called Comcast and tech person couldn't help.

If you are still on the old email format-------------------

 


Change over to the Lite version of Xfinity Connect from the default Full version. To do so, from the Inbox page, go to Preferences>>>>>General>>>>>>>>>Version. Make the change. Hit the Back button, and then click on Email. Then click on "Timezones" and put in whatever is correct for you. Then you can go back to the Full version if you want to.  But it only works in the Lite version.

 

If you are on the new format,  from the Inbox page click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen, then on Settings.  On the landing page click on "Basic Settings" and you will see the option to set the Time Zone.
