Re: I just changed my user id and email address but my old emails and address book did not transport

That's because you created, in effect, a new email account.  The old emails are still in the Inbox or other folders under the old user ID.  When you delete or change a user ID it is suspended for 90 days, after which it goes back into the pool  of available IDs for any Comcast customer who wants to claim it.  The old account is still running----you just can't see it or get at it.  You can try calling Comcast security to see if they will reinstate the old ID.
