I can't keep my phone number/e-mail address while I look for a new house.

I can't keep my phone number/e-mail address while I look for a new house.

We sold our house and will living with family while we search for a new place to live and there isn't a way to keep our e-mail and phone number. I'm willing to pay for it, there's nothing that can be done. I can access my e-mail all over the country and I can't keep my e-mail address? Need some more technological advances.

When you cancel service with Comcast, you can't keep the email as it is proprietary.  Once you are no longer a subscriber you no longer have access to the email.  That is why a lot of the regulars in the forum recommend not using email from Comcast for your main email account.  The same applies to most ISPs though, not just Comcast.  AT&T is one notable exception--------they let you keep your email account if you leave them, because under the hood it's actually a Yahoo account.
