How to send email without my name showing?

How do I send email with only my email address showing to the recipient and NOT my name? My name is not in my basic settings, but of course Comcast has my name in my account.  Thank you.

Re: How to send email without my name showing?

After you've logged in, go to xfinity.com/emailpreferences

Open the "Composing" section, and near the top should be "Your name in e-mails will be"  If you put your email address there, it should appear on your outbound email.

If you put something like a period, or "private" those words should show up.

usually when the message gets to the recipient it should appear like:

  "  . <username@comcast.net> "    (if you used . )

or  " private <username@comcast.net> "   (if you used "private" as the name in that box)

username@ .. is what ever your email address username is.
