How to link email from previous comcast acct

I have a comcast email from an old comcast acct (before my divorce) that is my primary active email. When I moved back into the area, I signed up for comcast and was given a new account. But this previous email is not linked to this new account. I can access emails via the comcast website, but logging into my comcast / xfinity account only gives my access to a newer email address (which is for the most part unused. How can I link the old email to the new account?

Re: How to link email from previous comcast acct

All of your email from the previous account is gone, unless you saved it to an email client.  The only way you can get that previous email address back is by calling Comcast and talking with them about it.  If the address is available [after a 90 period] you could possibly try setting it up as a secondary account [if you are currently the primary account holder] and then just use it, but as I said, all of your old emails will be gone.
