How to edit outgoing email addresses.

How to edit outgoing email addresses.

Outgoing email addresses: how to edit outgoing email addresses. Some gibberish has contaminated some addresses in the automatic email addresses. How do I edit them so they are, once again, accurate so I don't keep getting the 'CLIENT ERROR" message? Any help will be most appreciated!

Re: How to edit outgoing email addresses.

Where exactly are you talking about?  Are you using an email client like Outlook or Thunderbird, or only the Comcast webmail UI?

Re: How to edit outgoing email addresses.

The email service is COMCAST. The problem is as stated. Just seeking to edit out some gibberish that is now shown in front of an authentic address.  Hence, each time that particular address is used (frequently) the gibberish reappears and has to be deleted each time or I get a "CLIENT ERROR" message. Would just like to remove that gibberish permanently. Thank you for your reply and question.

OK I can't see whatever it is that you are looking at.  Can you post the entire error message (minus any real email addresses)?
