How to back-up and archive emails

Is there a way to back-up and archieve my comcast emails?

Had a computer crash recently and I lost several hundred emails.  Problem was, I pulled them over to my outlook and they did not stay in my comcast email.  Is there anyway to access those old emails now through comcast?

Re: How to back-up and archive emails

If you have them in Outlook, that is your back-up.  Is your Outlook set up using POP3 or IMAP?  If the emails were downloaded using POP then they are no longer on the server unless you had Outlook set to leave a copy on the server.
