How do I create an email group on the Xfinity Connect app

I email a certain bunch of people all the time.

Rather than enter every address every time - how do I create a "group" whereby I can just type the group name - or click the group name in my address book - to send a group email.

 

I went onto my account on a computer and created such a group but it doesn't appear on the app. (even after signing out, upgrading, everything I could think of)

I even went so far as to export all contacts (from the webpage on computer) - mailed the file to myself and then opened it and added to contacts - I did get all the individual contacts moved over, but the group - no.

 

There must be a way - in the app - to create a group to email with just one click - yes?

So I'm guessing by the lack of answers that this isn't possible?

I'm not sure.  When I sign into the app, it shows groups that I had created using my desktop, but none of them will populate if I begin typing them in the To: field.  I have no idea why.

I have spoken with the App team. I'm sorry to say that it looks like this is a bug. I have made them aware of it, and they are going to work on it ASAP.

 

In the meantime, as a workaround, you should be able to go into your contacts, then the group you would like to email, and at the bottom of the app, click email group and it should populate the group members in the TO field.
