From the Inbox page, go to Preferences>>>>>>Email>>>>>>>Email Filters.  There you can set up filters to discard the incoming emails based on a number of different criteria.  But if you are talking about run-of-the-mill spam, you are better off just marking it as spam to help train the filters.

Hello,

For the same senders go to https://pf.connect.comcast.net/OptimusPref/prefs/email and click on email filters and click on the word filters and fill in the information.

For different senders go to https://pf.connect.comcast.net/OptimusPref/prefs/email and click on spam filter and place a check mark on enable spam filter on my account and save a copy mark as spam just in case legit mail gets mark as spam.

So when you receive spam in your email box just dumb it in the spam folder. Comcast spam filters are not the greatest some times they get turned off by them self so you have to check this once in awhile to see if it is on,
