Fake Comcast surveys and other redirects

Fake Comcast surveys and other redirects

Over the last few months I have been having trouble with my comcast e-mail tab being redirected to Comcast customer surveys as well as others that warn of a compromised system with a phone number supposedly from Microsoft support systems. I have narrowed down these re-directs to my Xfinity webmail account only. It does not matter if I browse with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. It does not matter if I am synced up with my Google account or not. I have also experimented by leaving my Xfinity webmail page open on a different computer and the same re-direct happened there as well. I have made numerous attempts to resolve this including the purchase of Malwarebytes premium, and a number of other scans that the Malwarebytes support team has directed. The problem never occurs on any other website than my Xfinity webmail and the tab that it is opened in. Most of the re-directs are now being blocked by the Malwarebytes software with the message that they have blocked a malicous website. The fake surveys however, continue to come through. Is it possible that there is a virus on the server that hosts my email? I'm hoping that someone can help me to resolve the issue. I am running Windows 10 64 bit with all the latest updates installed. I am also using the Norton Security Suite provided with me Comcast account, along with Malwarebytes.

Re: Fake Comcast surveys and other redirects

It looks to me that you have done what you are supposed to do and more.  At this point the only other thing short of changing your Comcast email address is to contact Comcast security and see if there is anything else they can do for you----------------
