Right-click on the Trash folder, and you will get a menu with "Recover Deleted Items" at the bottom of it. Click on that to see emails that you deleted yourself. You can select the ones you want to recover, and then click on the little folder icon at the top of the window to move them back to where you want them. The feature is supposed to go back two weeks. But it takes a day or so for the deleted emails to show up in there, so if they're not there yet don't panic.
