Emails are disappearing from comcast.net webmail

Hello,

 

I've had my email from Comcast.net for about 13 years.  I've had iPhones and ipads....each with IMAP set up to sync with my webmail...for years.  Never ever had a problem.  HOWEVER, since about October, as soon as I read an email in the webmail....it literally disappears from my inbox in webmail.  It hasn't been moved to trash or spam.  It is just gone.  Yet, I can still see the email (that disappeared from my webmail) in my IMAP accounts on my iPhone and iPad.  I've done multiple tests.  It is very very aggravating. 

 

 

If you can offer any help or advice, I'd appreciate it.

It sounds like one of your devices is set up using POP3.  If that is the case, it will download the messages and then delete them from the server by default.
